DISMISSAL FOR WALKERS AND STUDENTS BEING PICKED UP
All walkers and students with pick-up notes will be dismissed out the front doors. Walkers will be dismissed immediately. If you want a “walker” to wait for a parent, you must send a note. To be dismissed, students being picked up must have a note in hand. If they are picked up every day, please send a permanent note to be kept on file in the office. We will make every effort to dismiss these students at 3:10 PM. Students will be dismissed out the front door as their rides arrive. Please meet you child at the broken line in front of the door, as no child will be allowed to cross the parking lot unattended or go beyond the broken line until they see a parent on the upper blacktop area. Children are not allowed to run to a waiting car under any circumstances. Children are instructed to only cross at the crosswalk where the crossing-guard is located.
Parents who will be picking up students must wait for the students outside the front entrance. If you arrive to pick up your child and he/she has had no note, please inform the teacher on duty and then come into the building to sign the sign-out log located in the office. |
