Maintaining the safety of our schools is of paramount importance to the Watertown Board of Education and its staff.  Whether caused by human actions, accidents, or natural disasters, crisis situations call for immediate planned action and long-term post crisis intervention.

There is a Crisis Policy and the School Crisis Management Plan is in place.   Appropriate training for staff and students has been and will continue to be conducted.  All types of evacuation and safety drills will be held in accordance with this policy.  The safety of our children is our first concern, and every measure is taken to ensure it.
